Palm Cove Café: Nice, spotlessly clean breakfast café situated in main arcade opposite newsagency. Breakfast from 7. 20 am sharp

Poppy’s Courtyard Café: Nice, directly opposite tourist office. Pretty garden setting across the road from the lake. Opens 8.00am

Waterfront [licensed] Café: Very nice - upmarket. On the waters edge alongside Tourist office. Great location. Opens 8.00am, also lunch & dinner {6495 2211}

We recommend The Cantina. Located in Market Street opposite the National Bank car park, the seafood is especially memorable.

Wolumla Hotel –slightly adventurous? – Quaint setting in old gold mining town. Lovely food country style -[a favourite with many Merimbula locals] – inexpensive & only 10k north on the highway to Sydney – dinner only {6494 9213}

There is excellent club dining at the beautiful Pambula-Merimbula Golf Club [a nominal $1 per person charge for their 15 seat courtesy bus is made]{6495 6154}

There is a similar service & standard at the Seaview Bistro at the Tura Beach Country Club [by 15 seat bus with pick up and return at no charge] {6495 9002}.

The Merimbula Bowling Club {6495 1306} and the Merimbula RSL {6495 1502}.

These facilities are amongst the best of their type.
